An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 14 children present with four classroom staff , a cook and an administrator.
The children were playing outdoors and eating lunch.
Three child records and four staff records were reviewed.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-330-B Description: Based on a tour of the playground, the facility failed to ensure that there are six inches of resilient surface material under climbing equipment.
Evidence:
1. There are four of the required six inches of resilient surface material under the climber.Plan of Correction: The site supervisor reported that more resilient surface material has been ordered.
