8VAC20-780-140 Each child shall have a physical examination by or under the direction of a
physician: 1. Before the child's attendance; or 2. Within 30 days after the first day of attendance.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director on October 3, 2022 beginning at 6:00 AM and ending at 6:36 AM. There were 4 school age children in the care of 4 staff members. The children were observed arriving to the program and interacting with staff. Five children?s records and three staff records were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and battery-operated radio were reviewed and in compliance. Three medications were reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 10/7/2022. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 9/20/2022. The most recent health inspection was dated 5/5/2022. The most recent fire inspection was dated 3/16/2022.
