Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on November 15, 2022. There were 18 children present, with 9 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program Contact Nancy.Radcliffe@doe.virginia.gov or call 703-268-3728 if you have any questions regarding this inspection.

Description: Based on observation, when food was brought from home, not all items were clearly labeled with date
Evidence
In the 2's room, lunch that was brought from home was not labeled with a date.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection. We will make sure all food brought from home is clearly labeled with the child's name and current date.
