An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 3:40pm-4:40pm. There were 26 children (school-age) directly supervised by 2 staff. The physical plant, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Staff records review is completed annually at the administrative office through the County of Loudoun, Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, and playing outside. There was an adequate supply of materials for the children. The program was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Based on observation, cleaning materials, were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Two spray bottles of disinfectant cleaner and deodorant and one container of disinfecting wipes, were observed unlocked in the program's storage room.
Plan of Correction: Lock was placed on closet.
