8VAC20-790 Subsidy Regulations.

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/7/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 11:30am-1:00pm. There were 39 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing outside, and eating snack. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
