Discussion on physical plant of the center.

Comments:
The purpose of today?s visit was to monitor compliance during a routine unannounced compliance visit.

Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the provider. Limited licensing requirements were monitored during the visit. The following items were observed in compliance during today?s visit: proper storage of hazardous materials, use of approved space, physical plant, administration, and programs. Licensing observed and documented the attendance.

There were 51 children and 13 staff present. Licensing interacted with staff on daily activities for children in the classroom. Licensing observed staff interaction with the children that was appropriate and staff were interactive with the children. The children were observed resting, eating lunch (blueberries, rice, beans, broccoli).

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

If you have any questions, you can contact eureka.nance@doe.virginia.gov or call 703-638-5968.
