Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 12/1/2022 and concluded on 12/1/2022. There were 14 children present with three staff supervising and one kitchen staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and one staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:30 am and concluded at 10:45 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-A
Description: Based on record review the center failed to provide to the licensing representative an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.
Evidence:
The most recent fire inspection is dated 8/25/2021.

Plan of Correction: The center will contact the fire marshal and request that an inspection be conducted.
