A new health and safety inspection was conducted today. The vendor does not have any children in care at the time of the inspection, but does have two children that come for drop in care. The area that will be used for child care has lots of space and the vendor has a bin of toys. The vendor will not provide food and will not transport the children, but will take them on walks in the neighborhood. This inspection was started at 10:00 and ended at 11:15. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-170-A Description: Based on the review of children's records, it was determined that the vendor does not have a written or electronic record for both children in care.
Evidence: The vendor does not have any paperwork for child A and B.Plan of Correction: I will make sure I ask the parents to fill out the paperwork.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-390-A Description: Based on the review of the vendors first aid kit, it was determined that the vendor is missing one of the items to make her first aid kit complete.
Evidence: The vendor is missing a digital thermometer in the first aid kit.Plan of Correction: I will buy one today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-400-C Description: Based on the physical plant review and the interview with the vendor it was determined at the vendor does not have numbers posted for 911 or local dial number for police, fire and emergency medical services and the number of the regional poison control center shall .
Evidence: No emergency numbers are posted in the home.Plan of Correction: Fixed during the inspection.
