Comments:
A complaint investigation concerning behavioral guidance was initiated on 1/13/2023, from a report received by the Fairfax County Licensing office on 1/12/2023. The inspection was conducted and completed on 1/19/2023, in the morning between 10:15 am and 12:00 pm. The inspection included interviews with the management team and teachers. There were 155 children supervised by 28 direct care staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, art, reading, and technology. The preponderance of evidence does not support the allegations and the complaint has been deemed not valid. Non-related violations that were not part of the complaint were cited during the investigation. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Kristy Atanackovic at kristy.atanackovic@doe.virginia.gov.
