Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 2/09/2023 from 9:25am to 12:15pm. At the time of entrance, 80 children were in care with 9 staff members present. Children were observed playing with puzzles, wearing chef?s hats for their cooking theme week, circle time, playing in centers, reading books, making Valentine art work, group discussion on healthy foods to eat and playing with play dough. Interactions between the children and staff were positive. The site was organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. A selection of staff and children records, medications, the physical space, evacuation drills and attendance records were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Please contact me if you have any questions at Stacy.Doyle@doe.virginia.gov or 571-835-0386.
