Discussion of standard 8 VAC 20-780.420.E.1.e for infants, who are awake and cannot turn over by themselves, the amount of time spent on their stomachs (documented within the infant's daily record).
Discussion of standard 8 VAC 20-780.510.E.4 - Medication. Methods to prevent the use of outdated medication (outdated medication observed on site had not been used).

This renewal inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 02/10/2023, between the hours of 10 am to 1:30 pm. There were 110 children present, ranging from infant to preschool-age, with 32 staff supervising, across 10 rooms. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 10 children records, and 6 new staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
