There were 87 children present, ranging in ages from six weeks to five years, with 12 staff supervising. Children were observed working on a group project creating a rainbow out of cereal, playing with magnetic blocks, animals, and coloring. The Junior kindergarten class was talking about the letter Z and working on cutting skills while making a zebra from a cutout letter Z. Infants had time on the mats and were being diapered. Later children prepared for lunch. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five staff records and five children?s records were reviewed.
