Comments:
A monitoring inspection was completed on from 11:20am until 12:45. There were 23 children present with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and three staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-330-B
Description: The center failed to where playground equipment is provided, resilient surfacing that complies with the minimum safety standards.
Evidence:
The resilient surfacing around the slides was approximately 2-4 inches.

Plan of Correction: Mulch as been ordered and the boy scouts are scheduled to help spread it 04/30/23.
