1. Reviewed COVID-19 health and safety guidance, and discussed the extra precautions the vendor has put in place.
2. The inspector will send the application for the CARES Grant Phase 2.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the home was not conducted at this time however, a portion of the inspection included a virtual component which allowed the inspector to observe the daycare areas of the home.
An unannounced subsidy inspection was conducted at 10:00am. The vendor was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection, and a Spanish speaking translator assisted with communication between the inspector and vendor. There were 2 children present = 3 points with the vendor. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. The daycare areas were well supplied with toys and equipment for the children, and appeared clean and organized today. The outdoor play area in the backyard had many play options, and appeared well maintained. On 8/7/20, the vendor was emailed a list of items required to complete the inspection, and all requested information was submitted. Information gathered during the inspection determined there were no non-compliances with applicable standards or laws reviewed.
