A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 8/28/2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.
The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-2 Description: Based on review, one staff who works directly with children did not have current certification in first aid appropriate to the ages of children in care within 90 days of the date of
employment.
Evidence:
1. Staff #4 (Date of hire 5/20/2024 and transfer date to current center 6/14/2024) was not current in First Aid training and had been more than 90 days since original hire date..Plan of Correction: First Aid completed 8/29/2024.
