An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 08/28/2024 as a part of the licensure period, The on-site inspection began at 1:00pm and ended at 2:15pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 59 children present and 12 staff. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records This inspection included a document review, tour of facility, interviews, observations and measurements. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Based on observation the center did not ensure all areas and equipment of the center, were maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
A floor tile at the entrance of one of the children's bathroom was broken.
2. The cubbies that were relocated inside the classrooms were not secured, posing a tipping hazard.Plan of Correction: The owner will have the tile repaired and cubbies secured to the walls.
