Technical assistance was provided and standards reviewed in the following areas: 8VAC20-780-270 building maintenance, background check protocol (as of July 1,2024), and potable water testing requirements.

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on August 27, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 9:35am and ended at 11:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 25 children present and nine staff. The inspector reviewed four children?s records and four staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
