A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 09/12/2024. There were 73 children present with 17 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 09/19/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-F Description: Based on record review, the center did not ensure that staff working directly with children had completed the department's health and safety update course annually.
Evidence:
Staff #3 did not have a certificate verifying that they had completed the annual health and safety update training for 2023.Plan of Correction: The staff member completed the Health and Safety Update training for 2024 on 09/12/2024.
