An unannounced, non-mandated inspection was conducted on 08/21/2024 in response to a complaint received on 08/20/2024. The investigation was focused on compliance with the vendor agreement (8VAC20-790). Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable standards or law. Violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on
09/20/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-D-1 Description: Based on record reviews the vendor failed to ensure that all staff have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care and the training shall include an in-person competency demonstration.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1 (date of hire 06/01/2017) had a CPR certification that did not have the hands on skill requirement. The document stated online only.
2. Director acknowledged the certification was missing hands on skill as required.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
