An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/10/2024 and completed on 9/10/2024, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:45AM and ended at 11:02AM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 17 children present and 6 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included ? document review (i.e. Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms), tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-D Description: Cleaning and sanitizing materials shall stored in areas physically separate from food. Licensing inspector observed a box of Goldfish crackers stored on a shelf next to cleaning materials during the inspection on 9/10/24. Plan of Correction: Provider moved Goldfish crackers to another cabinet without cleaning materials.
