Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Area and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
The handlebars of two the scooter bikes were missing on the playground area accessible to children during outdoor activity.
A toy truck had multiple cracked areas with sharp points located on the playground accessible to the children in care during outdoor activity.
ThePlan of Correction: Person-in-charge immediately (09/16/24) removed broken toys and will conduct more frequent walk-through inspection to prevent reoccurrence.
