An unannounced focused monitoring inspection was conducted on April 25, 2024 from approximately 11:35 AM to 12:45 PM. There were 24 children present in the center, ranging in ages from infant to preschool, with five staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. One staff record was reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-340-F Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure that children under 10 years of age always shall be within actual sight and sound supervision of staff.
Evidence:
