An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/16/24 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 97 children present and 20 staff. This inspection included tour of the facility and observations made in classrooms and on the playground.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 10/24/24. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-350-B-1 Description: The center must apply the staff to children ratio of 1:4 for children from birth up to 16 months.
At approximately 9:44 am there was only one staff present with 5 infants in the Infant A classroom. Another staff member came to the classroom in approximately 30-40 seconds.Plan of Correction: There were 2 floaters available to step into a classroom, if needed. Staff members have been reminded to call the front desk for assistance if they need to step out of the classroom for any reason.
