During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 9/5/2024 and completed on 10/8/2024. The on-site inspection began at 7:00am and ended at 9:10am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 30 children present and 7 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records electronically on 10/8/2024. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 10/30/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-3 Description: The center must request a search of the central registry prior to the employee's first day of employment for staff hired after 7/1/2024.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-80-A Description: The center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance with each group of children that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

Areas inside the center shall be maintained in a clean and safe condition.
1. Multiple areas of peeling blue wall paint were observed in the Four's classroom bathroom. Also, peeling wall paint was observed on the wall near the book corner in the Four's classroom.
2. In the Toddler's room, the bottom door on the changing table was broken exposing diaper creams to the children present in the classroom. The broken door was leaning on the wall nearby.
3. In the Two's classroom, the carpet wall siding had a three inch hole in the fabric and the top section of the siding was observed to be started to detach from the wall.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
