An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 10/28/2024 and completed on 10/28/2024, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:28AM and ended at 11:27AM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 28 children present and 6 staff. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records on site on 10/28/2024 and 4 staff records on 10/25/2024. Medication was reviewed on site 10/28/2024.
This inspection included - document review (i.e. Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms), tour of the facility, and observations (this would include observations of photos, recordings, etc.).
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-80-B Description: For each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival of each child in care as it occurs. Licensing inspector observed 13 children in care in classroom A and only 12 children were marked as present on the attendance during the inspection on 10/28/2024. Plan of Correction: Provider marked child as present and will document arrival daily.
