WATER TESTING:
Effective January 1, 2025, VDOE will begin determining compliance with ? 22.1-289.057 of the Code of Virginia, which is legislation passed by the General Assembly in 2020. The law requires all licensed child day programs, religious exempt child day centers that serve preschool age children, and certified preschools to test potable drinking water. The facility is reminded that a complete renewal application must be submitted prior to expiration of the license on May 22, 2025. Renewal applications should be submitted through the online portal available on the public website at childcareva.com.

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on November 12, 2024 and completed on November 12. 2024, as a part of the current licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:20am and ended at 11:00am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 67 children present and 16 staff. The inspector reviewed 8 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, postings review, tour of the facility and playgrounds, interviews, and observations.
