The Licensing Inspector discussed the allergy chart.
- Comments:

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/12/2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:20am and ended at 1:05pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 90 children present and 19 staff. The inspector reviewed 9 child records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, interviews, observations, and a tour of the facility.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-60-A Description: Each center shall maintain and keep at the center a separate record for each child enrolled which shall contain documentation of viewing proof of the child's identity and age.
The record for Child #1, enrolled for more two months, did not contain documentation of viewing proof of the child's identity and age.Plan of Correction: The parent provided documentation at pick-up.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Hazardous substances shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
In Classroom #1, a bottle of fuel system cleaner was found in an unlocked cabinet under the sink of the changing table.Plan of Correction: The bottle of fuel cleaner was removed during the inspection. The teachers were reminded to check all cabinets to ensure nothing harmful is accessible to the children.
