During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

An unannounced, on-site inspection was initiated and completed on 11/21/2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:00 am and ended at 1:00 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 72 children present and 12 staff. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records and 8 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five business days from today, which will be the close of business on 12/03/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-570-E Description: Prepared infant formula shall be refrigerated, dated and labeled with the child's name.
The refrigerator in the infant room had a zip lock bag with four bottles with prepared infant formula. The bottles were labeled with the child's name but were not dated.Plan of Correction: All teachers in the Infant room were verbally spoken to regarding the policies and procedures we have in place involving the correct labeling of items. We reiterated that Infant bottles, as well as all food items, must contain labeling of the contents, full name of the child, and the date.
Going forward, an administrator will verbally remind classrooms each morning, to check all items are appropriately labeled, as per licensing standards.
