Comments:

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

Standard #:	8VAC20-780-80-A
Description:	For each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child as it occurs. There were 7 children observed in the Infant Room but the attendance record had 8 children marked in attendance.
Plan of Correction:	Will retrain the staff on the procedures to document when children are transitioning to or visiting a new class.
Standard #:	8VAC20-780-510-E
Description:	The center?s procedures for administering nonprescription medication shall be consistent with the manufacturer?s instructions for age, duration, and dosage. Child 3 (10 months old) was administered Medication 1 five times between 10/25/2024-11/06/2024. The manufacturer?s instructions for this medication required physician?s instructions for administration to children under the age of 2 years; there were no physician's instructions available.
Plan of Correction:	Will not accept medications without the doctors instructions if manufacturer's instructions do not allow without doctors instructions.
