During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 1-13-2025 and completed on 1-13-2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:25am and ended at 11:15am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. CDC: There were 26 children present and 3 staff and 3 parent volunteers. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff /volunteer records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, int0erviews and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five business days from today, which will be the close of business on 1-21-2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

The findings from the most recent inspection, dated 9/16/2024, were not posted in a conspicuous place on the premises. Plan of Correction: The page missing was on file and was immediately hung

Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Disinfectant cleaner for a floor mop was observed stored in the mop and hanging on the wall.Plan of Correction: Mop removed from the building
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-560-G Description: When food is brought from home the food container must be clearly dated. In both the 3's and fours' classrooms some of the children's lunchboxes were not dated. Plan of Correction: 1. Notice sent to families reminding them to date/label snacks each day
2. Staff will check dates on snacks prior to students eating.
