An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 01/17/2025 as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11:45am and ended at 1:15pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements. There were 45 children present and 11 staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-70 Description: The required staff records are required to be kept by the center for each staff person.
Staff #1, #2, #3 and #4 did not have the job titles of the staff documented in the record.Plan of Correction: All staff files will be reviewed and job titles will be added to each staff record.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-440-E Description: There shall be at least 12 inches of space between occupied cots, beds, and rest mats.
Two infants were observed sleeping in cribs that did not have at least 12 inches of space between occupied cribs.Plan of Correction: all items and furniture stored between cribs will be moved so that each crib has at least 12 inches of space on the non-service sides.
