An unannounced, on-site focused inspection was initiated and completed on February 5, 2025, as a part of the probation period. The on-site inspection began at 8:25am and ended at 10:10am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. The inspector reviewed 4 child records on-site. This inspection included documentation review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Standard #: 22.1-289.023-A Description: Notice of the Superintendent's intent shall be posted in a prominent place at each public entrance of the licensed premises to advise consumers of serious or persistent violations.
The Notice of the Superintendent's intent was posted in the office, not in a prominent place at each entrance.Plan of Correction: The Notice of Intent will be posted on the parent board at the school entrance.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-570-A Description: When a child is placed in a high chair, the protective belt shall be fastened securely .
Child #1 (age 17 months), Child #2 (age 10 months) and Child #3 (age 12 months), were eating in high chairs with none of the safety belts engaged.Plan of Correction: We will retrain all staff on the importance of securing the children into the high chairs when being used.
