It was discussed with the owner that infants are to be put to sleep in their cribs (on their backs)
however, if the baby falls asleep in a place other than his designated sleeping location, the child
may remain in that space if comfortable and safe.

An unannounced inspection was completed on 02/25/2025 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 02/18/2025 relating to allegations of Programs. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations and measurements. The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation supports the allegation(s); therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The center had 5 infants in care and only 3 cribs available and ready to use.Plan of Correction: The center will rearrange the room and have enough cribs set-up and ready for use for each child in care.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-440-B Complaint related: Yes Description: (REPEAT VIOLATION) Cribs shall be identified for use by a specific child.
None of the cribs in the infant room were labeled for use by a specific child.Plan of Correction: All cribs will be labeled to identify its use by a specific child.
