During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 3/04/2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:01am and ended at 12:40pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 62 children present and 9 staff. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 7 staff records on-site] on 3/04/2025. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five business days from today, which will be the close of business on 3/11/2025 A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-3 Description: Repeat Violation
For staff hired before July 1, 2024, providers must obtain the results of a central registry search for an employee, within 30 days of service.
Staff #1 did not have central registry search results for this entity during the inspection and has been employed for approximately 2 years. The central registry findings in the staff file dated 3/15/2023 were sent to the staff person instead of the center.Plan of Correction: Sent new CSR search with Kindercares address.

The center shall ensure that areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, are maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.
There was a vent in the Preschool A classroom that was sticking out away from the wall at the left corner and was within reach of children. In the Pre-K B classroom, the paint was peeling on the bottom left of the Bulletin Board.Plan of Correction: Work orders were placed.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-350-B-4 Description: The required ratio for children ages 3 years old up to school age is one staff per ten children.
Two staff were observed supervising 21 children (3 years old to 4 years old) from approximately 9:05am-9:16am until a third staff person entered the classroom..Plan of Correction: Moved child to another classroom.
