An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was completed on 03/11/2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:45 am and ended at 11:40 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 91 children present and 19 staff. The inspector reviewed 9 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22.1-289.058 Description: Child day programs built before shall be equipped with at least one carbon monoxide detector.
The child day center did not have a carbon monoxide detector available during the inspection.Plan of Correction: Carbon monoxide detectors were ordered during the inspection.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Classroom #1 and classroom #2 had bleach and water solution and Lysol spray unlocked in an upper cabinet.Plan of Correction: This was fixed during the inspection.
