An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 02/28/2025 and completed on 03/05/2025. The on-site inspection began at 8:00 AM and ended at 9:15 AM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 85 children present and 6 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records, 5 staff on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility and interviews.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Two spray bottles of sanitizing chemicals were unlocked in the child care area, within reach of children.Plan of Correction: The director removed the spray bottles during the inspection and will ensure that all chemicals are locked.
