During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed.
- Technical Assistance:

Refrigerators and freezers in the classrooms should have thermometers.
Keep a copy of the allergy plan and medication forms with medications.
Storage of diaper creams.

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on March 24, 2025 and completed on March 24, 2025, as a part of the current licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:00am and ended at 11:00am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 62 children present and 16 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 child records and 7 staff records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, postings review, tour of the facility and playgrounds, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on April 2, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Areas and equipment of the center, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.
Multiple electrical cords that could cause choking or strangulation, were hanging accessible to the children in Classroom C.Plan of Correction: Was corrected during inspection.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-280-B Description: Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Classroom B was observed to have cleaning materials in an unlocked cabinet accessible to the children.Plan of Correction: Remind staff to put away cleaning materials and lock cabinet after each diaper change.
