Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. An unannounced inspection was initiated on March 19, 2025 and completed on March 31, 2025 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on March 13, 2025 relating to allegations of adminsitration, programs and supervision. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site on March 19, 2025. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation(s); therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. Though not a part of the original complaint, violations that were not reported were found related to supervision and are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on April 7, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-E Complaint related: No Description: The center's is required to ensure the center's own policies and procedures are mainitained in compliance. The Pre-K classroom was out of compliance for staff and child ratio on the playgroud. Plan of Correction: Coached Staff #1 and #2 on proper supervision and ratios according to our policies and licensing standard.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-350-B-4 Complaint related: No Description: The required ratio for children ages 3 years old up to school is one staff per 10 children Staff #1 was observed supervising 16 children on the playground from approximately 11:25 am-11:30 am. Staff #2 went inside the building. Plan of Correction: All staff were required to retrain on ratios and active supervision which was complete o 3/20/2025. Retrained on proper communication techniques.
