During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on March 27, 2025, and completed on March 27, 2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:22 am and ended at 12:10 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 22 children present and three staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and four staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-350-B-3 Description: The center shall maintain the required ratio of one staff per eight children for children two years of age. During the inspection, Staff #3 was observed supervising 14 children. The youngest child in the group was two years old. The required ratio for children aged two years is one staff per eight children. Plan of Correction: Per the director: Family emergency so ratio was not in ratio for one class. It was corrected when director arrived. Another staff called out sick and the sub corrected and was called in. Going forward we do have a new hire available and are waiting on background checks to clear.
