During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 04/01/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10a.m. and ended at 11a.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 25 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-80-A Description: The center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
A total of 25 children were present during the inspection. The written record of attendance recorded all 25 children had departed from the program.Plan of Correction: The attendance record was corrected during the inspection.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-510-P Description: When an authorization for medication expires, the parent shall be notified that the medication needs to be picked up within 14 days or the parent must renew the authorization.
A medication authorization for Child # 6 expired 8 months ago. The medication was not returned to the parent and the authorization was not renewed.Plan of Correction: The authorization was for the school year 2023-2024. A new authorization will be obtained for this school year.
