An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 04/09/2025 and completed on 04/11/2025. The on-site inspection began at 12:23 pm and ended 3:00 pm. The inspector review compliance in the areas listed above. There were 44 children present and 12 staff providing direct care and supervision. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records.
The inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-500-A Description: Staff shall wash their hands with soap and running water before feeding or helping children with feeding.
Staff 2 did not wash their hands before feeding a child their bottle.Plan of Correction: Will review handwashing with teachers and staff.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-510-G Description: Medication shall be labeled with the child?s name, the name of the medication, dosage amount, and the time or time to be given.
Medications 1 and 4 were not labeled with the child?s name.Plan of Correction: Will reach out to teachers and Health and Disability Managers to ensure compliance.
