The Licensing Inspector discussed liability of insurance renewal, volunteer requirements, immunizations, and annual training.
- Comments:

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted 4/14/2025 from 11:40am - 2:30pm. There were 102 children and 20 staff present during the time of the inspection. The inspector reviewed 8 child and 5 staff records onsite. The inspection included document review, interviews, observations, and a tour of the facility.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which is 4/25/2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-130-E Description: The center shall obtain documentation of additional immunizations once every six months for children under the age of two years.
The record for Child #1, 19 months of age, contained immunizations dated 10 months ago.Plan of Correction: We have received the updated immunizations from the parent and will continue to ensure that we follow up on the reminders for updates.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-M Description: The center shall maintain a current written list of all childrens known allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions. The list shall be dated and kept confidential in each room or area where children are present.
Two out of five classrooms observed had an allergy chart without a cover sheet, exposing childrens confidential information.Plan of Correction: We have created new allergy covers for all classrooms and told them to use them even if they keep them in a cabinet to get in the habit of always having it on, even during the food serving times.
