During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Potable water testing enrollment in VDH, Inspector recommended contacting VDH for next steps/follow up.

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 5/5/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11:00am and ended at 12:40pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 20 children present and 5 staff. The inspector reviewed 4 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-260-B Description: REPEAT VIOLATION
After the first license, annual approval from the health department shall be provided, or approvals of a plan of correction, for meeting requirements for water and sewage.
DOL Environmental and Sanitation Inspection on file is over a year old, dated 10/12/2023. 11/2024, center was told inspection due 2/2025. 3/17/2025 health inspection was for food services only. Environmental sanitation inspection not scheduled/completed as of 5/5/2025.Plan of Correction: Center staff to contact County health inspector today to request environmental sanitation inspection/report.
On 5/8/2025 Licensing Inspector received copy of County completed a health inspections and a Environmental Sanitation Inspection on 3/17/25. Both inspections on file at the center in the licensing binder.
