During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.
- Technical Assistance:

Standard 8VAC20-780-510 regarding medication was reviewed with administrators. Discussion included written parental permission for any medication stored for potential administration to children and parent/physician authorization for over the counter medication.
- Comments:

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 05/05/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11:20 AM and ended at 12:45 PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 31 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site.
This inspection included:

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a safe condition. There are several areas on the elementary playground where poison ivy has grown thrown the back fencing. Plan of Correction: Provider response:

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-560-J Description: Tables shall be sanitized after each use for feeding. The tables were cleaned using sanitizing wipes after the children ate their lunch. Plan of Correction: Provider response:
Microban has been used to replace the wipes.
