An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was completed on 05/12/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 1:55 pm and ended at 2:55 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 87 children present and 14 staff. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 staff records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-440-E Description: There shall be at least 12 inches of space between occupied cots, beds, and rest mats
There was less than 12 inches of space in between occupied mats in the toddler and pre-k rooms.Plan of Correction: Will remind staff to maintain 12 inches of space between cots.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-500-B Description: The diapering surface should be nonabsorbent surface.
The diaper changing pad in the toddler classroom had a tear.Plan of Correction: Will be replaced today 5/12/2025.
