Please update your safe sleep practices policy on the most current recommendation on safe sleep practices. Be sure to update your policy and list what the center will and will not do for the safe sleep practice with infants. Be sure to update and inform your staff and the parents on the updated policy.

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 5/13/2025 and completed on 5/13/2025. The on-site inspection began at 1:21 pm and ended at 3:57 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 43 children present and seven staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records on-site on 5/13/2025.This inspection included :document review ,tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 5/30/2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-270-A Description: Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition. Unsafe conditions shall include, but not be limited to, splintered, cracked or otherwise deteriorating wood; chipped or peeling paint; visible cracks, bending or warping, rusting or breakage of any equipment.
In Classroom A and Classroom B, the wooden baseboard along the wall was broken in one area and paint was peeling off of the wall trimming. In Classroom A, Classroom B and Classroom C paint was peeling in areas along the wall.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
