During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above, to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. A subsidy inspection was initiated and completed on May 27, 2025. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-F Description: Staff who work directly with children shall annually attend at least 16 hours of training and staff development activities, to include the department's health and safety update course. The 2024 Virginia Preservice Training (3 hour) update was not completed by staff. Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: Moving forward, all staff members will complete the 2025 Virginia Preservice Training this year and take this updated course every year as required by subsidy.
