During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 6/2/25, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 12:30 pm and ended at 2:53 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 68 children present and 15 staff. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site.
This inspection included; document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-E Description: The operational responsibilities of the licensee shall include ensuring that the center's own policies and procedures that are required by these standards, are maintained.
The center did not follow its own policy for notifying parents of an expiring/expired medication.
One medication at the center was expired. (1/2025 - Child 1)Plan of Correction: The parent was contacted during the inspection. The medication will be replaced by tomorrow.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-50-A Description: Staff and children's records shall be treated confidentially.
Information was not kept confidential when the Supplemental page of the previous inspection was posted, containing names of staff and children.Plan of Correction: Moving forward, only the Inspection Summary and the Violation Notice (if applicable) will be posted.
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-80-A Description: For each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Two children's attendance was not documented as it occurred.Plan of Correction: Parents will be emailed, to remind them to sign the children in and out each day.
