A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-600-F Description: Staff who work directly with children shall annually attend at least 16
hours of training and staff development activities, to include the department's health
and safety update course.
The record for Staff #1 (employed for 11 years) did not contain documentation that the health and safety update course was completed in 2024.Plan of Correction: We have created an annual office calendar/checklist to be checked monthly by admin for expiration dates/updates for the annual state health/subsidy training to ensure staff files are updated as required.
