The 3 hour Virginia Annual Health and Safety Update Training is a follow-up to the 10-hour Virginia Preservice Training course. This training course is required for all staff that work in a childcare program participates in the Virginia Childcare Subsidy Program. The training is required annually.

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.
